Bogus tracking numbers
I bought a camera on June 23 and never received it. The seller ships with no tracking info. I asked for it then seller sends it. The seller is in Denmark. Lisited UPS as the shipper. The tracking info I get is a 4PX number, I check it and it's a China shipping service. Ask the seller, says had to go to China for work. On July 4, I check tracking info & now changed to UPS tracking info and a delivery date June 25, I never received it. I called UPS they say my address was not the destination & it was an Amazon package & referred me to them. I message the seller about this, says package was delivered. I contacted Ebay for help. I put in request about not receiving the camera. I check today seller responded say the camera was delivered no problems. This seller gave me 2 bogus tracking numbers and 2 different shippers. I check my request on ebay said case closed based on what the seller response today. I now put in an appeal, I am really disappointed with eBay after being on here for 22 years. I see this a scam. What do you think?

'seller is in Denmark'...so, you couldn't find a 'camera' in the USA among all the sellers on eBay?
Or was it a price too good to be true...
I would have open a claim when 'estimated date of arrival passed' and would not have emailed the seller.

Get a letter from UPS stating the package was from Amazon and not addressed to you.
When you get the letter:
Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
If they want to pay for a return, send the seller a copy of the letter from UPS.

Personally, I think you are a victim of the typical "fake tracking scam" that has been prevalent on this site for over a decade. Please read the following thread for your options to recover your money. They are listed as (a) through (d). As well you will have information on what NOT to do. Do come back if you have any additional questions that you may have, and if you get it solved without that so we can advise others. Tip: Get "item not received" out of your head even if you got nothing. Start thinking FRAUD/Fake tracking scam and the options you have. INR claims will get you nowhere.
