Is there a way to block a seller from your feed? Sellers get to block buyers. Can we block them? There are some certain sellers that list way too many cheep items that I don't want and it takes pages to get through these, In most cases it is usually MULTIPLE listings OF THE SAME ITEMS, with the item photographed from different angles. When I report this activity to eBay, eBay does nothing about it, even though THIS ACTIVITY is AGAINST EBAY RULES.
EBAY NEEDS TO GIVE US SOME KIND OF SOLUTION TO THIS. Either allow us to block sellers and specific Countries, or stop these sellers from doing this. Stop allowing these certain sellers to get away with ruining the site.

·4 months agoI want an easier way where I only need to type in a seller’s ID or the item numbers to block them, with the option to go back later and remove the seller’s ID or item numbers if I choose to.
So simple a cat can do it!

·4 months agoNot blocking buyers (BBL), blocking sellers (BSL).
Like when you make a really bad purchase and never want to buy from that person again. Similar to blocking buyers, but a block "seller" list.
Well, that ship has sailed, sunk, and is now hosting a crab rave at the bottom of the ocean...sigh...

·4 months agoYou can build and save a search if you are looking at the same items all the time. When you do that you can block sellers you don't want to see. Once you do that you can open the saved search from the My eBay drop down.

·4 months agoIt would be great to have a feature that lets you block a seller or specific listings, making the experience feel custom-tailored just you.

It is possible to do this on a very small scale -- blocking individual sellers by username on specific searches, or listings by excluding the item number -- but the process does not scale at all. You run into problems blocking more than about ten sellers or items, once the page URL gets too long to be properly evaluated.

Items in your Feed come from your Watch List, Saved Searches and Saved Sellers.
I am assuming you are not watching any of the seller's items and you do not have the seller saved to your Saved Seller list.
So in order to ensure that a seller's items are not shown in your feed, it would be necessary to block the seller's items from each of your relevant individual saved searches.

·4 months ago@leehurst even tho the blocking system states 'buyer' it works for any ebay member as long as you have their ebay id, here is the link to do so>

as far as the 'feed' goes, not sure if this blocking system will work, but you can go into your account settings and look into 'advertising preferences' or what ever fits your purpose

·4 months agoNO! There is no way to block a seller. You can only block a seller so you don't have to read messages they send you. The solution is to go to advance search and type in words in the title of this sellers listing to be excluded. That way you can reduce. They most likely promoted the listings so they are paying Ebay for that exposure.
