blocking my buyer zip code?
what does this even mean? I'm in good standing. he is advertising on ebay US...not canada...even though it shows him in canada. I simply put in an opening bid amount and then a couple hours later, my bid is cancelled with "blocked buyer zip"? huh?
I've been on ebay since 1999 and never seen this? is the guy a weirdo? whats going on here?
I dont care about his rating honestly. he's pretty much 99% positive like I am just with a couple random weirdos that you simply cannot please. I just dont know what I did wrong? lol.

OP1 year agono, they apparently blocked my entire zip code? lol. they specifically have international shipping as an option. **bleep**??

·1 year agoSeller is located in Canada.
The listings are also showing in the US.
The seller may not want to ship to the US but set up the listing incorrectly or they have a flat rate shipping and with the new USPS increases the shipping being charged to your ZIP would not cover shipping.
I think the explanation is put in by the seller when they cancel.
It could say anything or nothing.

OP1 year agoits weird, they also ended the listing at the same time but left an identical item for sale for $20 more...so weird...

It could be that the seller sold it locally and when you bid on it they realized it and the other one was no longer for sale.
There is not a option for "Blocked buyer Zip". If that was allowed you would not have been able to place the Bid to start with. The reason for the cancellation was decided and entered by the seller after you placed the bid.
The Seller is able to Block you from buying anything from them and sometime they will do that if there was a problem with a transaction. Are you blocked from buying anything at all from this seller?

OP1 year agoI mean I guess maybe they did block me? who knows. the only thing I did was ask what car they came off of as it didnt mention it in the listing (cadillac ats or cts) as the only difference is the pin size that holds the brake pads in place....in case I won, I'd need to know this so I dont order the wrong brake pads.
next thing I know my bid is cancelled, the listing is down, and then I tried bidding on the other set they had and got the message that my zip code was blocked lol.
so confusing but whatever.
