There's a seller that has a item listed at $9.99 or best offer. I offered the $9.99 price. He says now he wants $50 for it and the $9.99 was not the buy it now price? Item still listed at $9.99 or best offer?

·6 months agoIf it was an auction with starting price of 9.99 good chance if they bid the 9.99 and won, the seller would not ship it.

·6 months agoAre you sure that's not an auction style listing? If so then that makes sense. They don't want $9.99 which is the starting bid they want something higher. Just because an auction starts at $9.99 doesn't mean that's going to be the end cost. The seller is just fielding offers so if say you offered them $50 they would end it now.

·6 months agoWhen you have a listing that’s a Buy It Now with Best Offer, you purchase at the BIN price or offer lower using Best Offer.
With auctions with a best offer, you either bid and hope no one bids higher than you or you offer the seller a high enough amount for the seller to accept your offer which ends the auction.
