No I'm just going to let this one go it wasn't really much money . I've been shopping on ebay for 25 years and I think it's only the second time I've been scammed without getting my money back so actually I feel pretty fortunate

@suny-1353,
Because of the privacy policies of shipping agencies, ebay's Item Not Received system cannot get proof of where a package was delivered, There are ways to get the info to them but it can take some doing. We do need to know if you have taken any actions with ebay so far.
Yes. I did make the mistake of doing a item not received and was told by ebay that it showed delivered. This is a fool me shame on me I will never make that mistake again I will do a return item then return what was sent to me.exactly what was sent to me
Did you submit a statement from your shipping company that the item was not delivered to your address?
The BBB doesn't have a significant direct impact on eBay's operations or its sellers. While the BBB can be a forum for consumers to file complaints, it's not a regulatory agency and can't force businesses to resolve issues. eBay is not obligated to respond to BBB complaints and can generally ignore them.

·1 year agoHi @suny-1353
I’ve been the victim of the ‘fake tracking number scam’ several times … with a few different companies (Amazon, eBay, Home Depot).
Sometimes the individual seller used a drop-shipper … and it was the drop-shipper who provided the fake number. The seller was completely innocent.
I found the easiest way to get refunded was to contact the Fraud Department of my credit card company. They are very familiar with this scam.

·1 year agoYes, that’s what they do. I asked USPS to put that in writing so that I had written proof to present if asked.
I also had to collect proof from UPS and FedEx when those companies were used to ship with a fake tracking number.
Have you tried getting a chargeback from your payment source directly @suny-1353 ?
