Being labeled as international buyer...
Why is my account being labeled an international buyer? US billing shipping and Internet IP.
No, there is no VPN and this is happening over 3 different ISP.

·7 months agoAs @kibble-net suggests, the issue appears to be with your citizenship or residency status, as per the message you received. Neither where your purchases are being billed or shipped nor the location of your ISP have anything to do with this.

·7 months agoIt's not saying you're a non-US buyer. It's implying you aren't a permanent resident.
I would call ebay to get the best answer direct from the horse's mouth. I doubt anyone here can seriously help with this.

OP7 months agoIt seems to be what eBay does to limit and suppression sales around anything firearm related.

·7 months agoAre you using starlink as internet provider or are you located close to the Canadian border?

OP7 months agoFlorida, using Starkink, Googlefi, or/and another land based ISP. Makes no difference, same results.

Has this happened to you often or was it a one time occurrence? If it has only happened once, posting the item number of the item you were trying to buy might help us explain why it happened.
Almost daily we see posts from foreign members who have been directed to the U.S. site (ebay.com). In some cases they got misdirected because they looked at a U.S. seller's other items, and were directed away from their home site. They did not notice that the URL address was no longer (ebay.co.uk) the UK based site for example.

I don’t know where you get the notion that you are an international buyer, you are registered in the United States. Unless you are shopping on eBay in another country like eBay Canada or eBay UK.
Try logging completely out then log back into https://www.ebay.com/
