"Awaiting Delivery message" on USPS is stopping Seller from getting paid, what now? Please help
So I ordered a item and the delivery was through USPS and the first attempt delivery failed even though I never saw USPS that day.
A couple days later I saw the package at my home but the Status on USPS was still saying "Awaiting Delivery" since the 4th of April and the Seller says they need it to say Delivered on USPS for them to get paid.
I'm not sure how i can help on my end.

·4 months agoIf your seller is new or hasn't sold in the past 90 days, eBay can/will hold their funds for about 30 days. I believe this is mentioned in eBay's information for sellers. Nothing you can do to help the seller get paid sooner, although you might consider pointing out the above information (if applicable) to help him understand the situation.

·4 months agoAlso, is this the seller for whom you left positive feedback recently? If so, they appear to be located in Thailand which could be part of the issue. If not, then please ignore this message.

·4 months agoIf you have left positive FB the problem is not the lack of a delivered scan.
The seller is probably subject to a 30 day hold and thinks he had a shorter one. A common new or infrequent seller misconception.

·4 months agoAs a buyer, there is nothing for you to do or really even concern yourself with. The seller will get paid in due time

There is nothing you can do as the buyer to help in this situation. The seller needs to talk with USPS and Ebay representatives to get that resolved. More so USPS.

·4 months agoNot 100% sure - But, leaving a positive feedback for your seller mentioning that you item was delivered on time in good condition may help. Good Luck To Both You & Your Seller.

·4 months agoYour seller is likely new or an infrequent seller of which eBay will hold their funds for up to 30 days, regardless of whether or not the item was scanned as delivered.
There is really nothing you can do on your end. Your seller needs to be patient.

About the only thin I can think of that will help the seller would be to wait at home today for your carrier and have them scan the package so it gets a Delivered scan. was the item sent in an envelope? If it was, it is very common for those shipments not to get delivered scans.
If you no longer have the package or the label can't be scanned, leave the seller a positive feedback if they deserve one.
You may want to reply to your seller and tell them to do a Google Search for;
Payments on hold, eBay That will let them know when their funds will be released.
