Automatic translations are a MISTAKE

Question

I've been trying to buy some graphics card lately, and I noticed that every single item description has been translated to Spanish.

This is one of the most absurd and nonsensical decision someone has ever made at eBay.

You need to understand, that ALL technical information regarding this devices are 100% English words.

things like "Benchmark" "Inputs" "FrameRate"

I profoundly dislike my current experience with the eBay description and I would love to know how to disable auto translation.

This is a good example of why I keep coming back.
I'm looking for specific things like Mini ITX computer cases and old truck spare parts.
The description of these items, when translated, completely loses the meaning of what it is meant to describe.

I'm currently sending descriptions to a friend in the US just to get the original description from items.

because some times, the Spanish translation are just terrible.

You are right. In my case this is limited to the sellers description. Let the world know! Ebay is forcing auto translate on everyone and there is no way to fix nor disable that.

My browser is not to blame, I'm using Firefox, and the language is set to English with no translation enabled, also my PC is set to English.

Yes, I'm located on a Spanish speaking country, however, I have never used nor desired to use Spanish for my online shopping, this issue is only happening with eBay. no other eCommerce site has the same weird forced translation thing.

That sounds like an issue in your browser or website settings, and I do not see the same thing, but a few users have reported similar issues intermittently over the past few years. Check that your browser does not have a translate feature running (on my system I see an icon to the right of the website address if it's active).

I would also suggest trying to clear your cache and site data (often, you can just click the padlock or other icon in your browser's menubar, next to the site address, to find an option like "Clear cookies and site data" that will let you clear it for just the site you're viewing). If it still doesn't load, try it in another web browser to see if it shows the text in English there, or from a different device if possible.
