Authentication guaranteed not done on an item I purchased
Hello, I purchased a pair of boots that supposed to come with “authentication guarantee†but the authentication was not done because the seller listed the item in bags category instead of shoes, I was told by authentication representative. However, the shoes were sent from authentication hub to me instead back to seller. My question: do I refuse the package upon delivery so will go back to authentication hub? I was told I can do that by representative, but want to be sure. Once I refuse the package I can start the return process? Or I accept the package and start return process? I want to make sure I am not getting stuck with such an expensive item that is not authentic guaranteed. Please help….

·3 years agoDo not refuse the package! You void your coverage under eBay's Money Back Guarantee if you do that. If the package arrives and the boots aren't as described, go to the item in your purchase history, click Return, and select that the item was not as described. Four days later you'll be able to ask eBay to step in. They'll send you a return label, and once the seller receives the item you'll be refunded.

OP3 years agoThank you very much for responding. I did what you advised, so now I opened a return request. I am waiting for eBay to handle this return. Many thanks again
