As a Buyer, I lost an appeal for $275.00
I am a top seller here on eBay and have been since 2011 (well, not anymore as I closed my account). I am beyond livid with eBay and their money back guarantee. I ordered an air conditioner recently that was $275.00 and I NEVER received it. The seller gave me a tracking number that did not have my address or my name on it, just the town. I called Federal Express and they would not give me the information as to where this air conditioner ended up. The person that even signed for it was not me, but eBay still sided with the Seller (who is an international seller). I can't tell you how upset I am and I had sent to the seller numerous messages with no replies - that to me would be suspicious, but nope. Ebay still sided with the seller. I even have an account with Federal Express and sent eBay all the deliveries I received in July and they STILL sided with the Seller. Beyond sad! Because of this, I am closing my account and never want to deal with eBay again. Just awful!

Looks like another victim posted here today as well. This issue is posted almost daily here, and often more than once.

Just as they do for you as a seller.
This is a fake tracking scam.
You can appeal the decision.
There are ways to protect yourself from this but at this point you want a refund and not how to avoid this again.
I would file with my CC to get refunded. Especially if you have proof the tracking was not to your house.
