I seriously doubt they would be tax exempt. Some States have no sales tax so they would obviously be tax exempt there. Other States have no sales tax on food from grocery stores and some have tax exemptions on clothing. None have tax exemptions for pet products as far as I have ever heard.

·3 years agoSince you can neither eat them or wear them, pet flea products are not tax exempt in Minnesota.
It's probably going to be a state-by-state issue, and not a general national exemption.

·3 years agoAssuming you're asking about state sales tax, that probably varies from state to state.
Can you perhaps call a local pet supply store and inquire?
For my state, Ohio, dog FOOD is taxable, so probably also pet flea products.
