selling Sony DTC-2000ES Dat Recorder **Ultra rare

I bought it from him Via eBay oct 2023 1590 Euros and sendet back to him for Garanti Repair . He dit not send recorder to me or neither my money back

now he selling it for another 2 time this stolen

You (and apparently everyone else) need to read eBay's Stolen Property Policy. It doesn't matter that this was a repair service or when it happened. "The sale of stolen property is not allowed on eBay." But the policy goes on to state: "we will work with law enforcement [emphasis mine] in any attempts to sell stolen property on eBay." That means reporting it yourself won't work. The report has to come from law enforcement.

EBay won't act on reports of stolen property from members. They will, however, work with law enforcement. You'll need to report the theft to law enforcement and have them contact eBay. They can find information on doing so here.

If you purchased it in 2023, probably not much Ebay will do about it now.

You can probably make a police report, then the police can contact Ebay.

Since you are located in Finland, did you sign up to use ebay on one of their European based sites? If so you should login to it and post your issue on its community. This is the U.S. based site

( ebay.com ) and what possible legal or police protections you may have in the EU we would not know about.

eBay has 3 social media platforms you can use to contact them. Facebook and the other two links below. You would probably need the original listing and its photos from 2023 to make your case, and that information is no longer available on ebay. I do not believe you would have messages between you and the seller either after so long.

1. Keep Garanti Repaired in shop without

senfing it to me

2. trying to sell my recorder (1590e)

to some other .

I can not understant why e Bay is not doing more than nothing. I have ingormed e Bay Many many many times

I think ITS too much that customers from

Finnland should ask help from Danish Criminal Police . They surely have bigger

crimed to solve?

Repair services buught through ebay are not protected by ebay's Money Back Guarantee and never have been.

If the person who was supposed to repair the recorder did not return it, that is Theft and the police in their town would be interested in the case, because if they did that to you, they may be stealing from others. It never hurts to ask.

Wow I'm sorry to read that..

Nobody here on the board can help but you could reach out to eBay employee's direct on their social media pages. If you don't have Facebook, it's worth signing up there to contact them. The reps are quite helpful and responsive.

Have some evidence of what you are claiming, such as a link to the sale, showing the serial number. It will be in your purchase history.

NOTE: Are you certain they are reselling the same one and not just reusing that photo for a similar one?

I am alsolutely sure it my recorder . In selling picture Analoque Denmark and eBay there is same scratc in recorders right
