am i cooked?
i bought a battery on november 12 from a seller that does not accept returns, we tried it for a while and then we found out it was faulty so I contacted the seller on december 9 and they said they had to contact the factory
i waited because holiday season and all that, then i contacted them again on january 2 to ask for updates and they said they'll send another one and that they needed the serial number
i sent the number on january 3 and they answered until january 8 saying that that number should work and that they were going to send another one, mind you, they never asked for any extra information, address or anything, I had to be the one to tell them again and they're still like "sure, we'll send you another one"
it's already february and i still have no info, no tracking number, nothing
the window to ask for a refund or something is already closed and i can't contact ebay, plus i paid using my own card because i couldn't use paypal at the time

·6 months agoYour past the eBay protection. If you paid by credit card, contact your card company.

·6 months agoThe ebay money back guarantee covers you for 30 days for items that don't match the listing description or for items that are broken/ damaged/ defective, etc. This coverage applies to most items (shorter return window with certain items), whether the seller "accepts returns" or not.
At this point, yes, it's too late to get a refund through ebay.

·6 months agoNever wait, or even bother communicating with the seller, many are pros at running out the clock for your ebay buyer protection...
You have 30 days from the date of delivery, on december 9th you should of opened the case and ebay would have sided with you and you would have received a full refund.
So at this point you need to contact your bank and do a chargeback

·6 months agoAs you are evidently aware, you had 30 days after the date of delivery to open an item not as described case with eBay.
You may still have a chance, however, to do a chargeback with the credit card that you used to make this purchase.
