It is not just that brand name that are scams. Just about all of the folding e-bikes listed on ebay are sold by China based sellers, and none are to be trusted. Many of the listings give a U.S. location, but the sellers are registered in China and some in the U.S..
There are a few listings that do show a $299.00 to $689.00 multi variation listings that all revert to $689.00 no matter what option is selected. Which can be reported, but over all you should avoid buying any of those items. Especially, if the seller's feedback percentage is 98.6% or lower. Or if they have a very low feedback number. The one in ( ) to the right of their username.

As for reporting the listings, the AI program ebay now mostly uses to check reports, is set up to look for invalid payment terms or taking sales off ebay, not for location, or price discrepancy issues.

·7 months agoDuring a visit to the hospital a couple of months ago, a young nurse rode up on an electric bike and parked it with the regular bikes. It was really neat so I asked her where she got it. "Costco - it was $299.00 (Cdn). I wish these things were around when I was a kid ... it would have been much easier than bolting a Briggs & Stratton to my bicycle!

·7 months agoI looked at some of their listings. On one listing, the price of $299 pops up but when you click on each color choice, it changes to $689; however, when you get down to the last choice which is for the "battery only", the price is $299.
I admit this is a bit confusing/deceiving. However, it seems the problem is that you think you should be able to buy a $700 bike for $300 FS and that's not how it is. If you think it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

OP7 months agoThe initial main AD lists the ebike for $299, not the battery. When clicking to description , the ad still repeats price as $299.

Your initial post tells us to "BEWARE of THIS FRAUDSTER AD!!!!" You are not talking to eBay; you are talking to volunteer buyers and sellers on this board who try to help people with problems.
You can report the listing to eBay but since most everything is handled by AI, I don't know how much good it will do.
There are over two Billion listings on eBay every day and eBay has neither the resources nor qualified employees to try to determine whether every listing is correct or not. It is up to a buyer to vet a seller and determine if that seller is someone they want to buy from. The ad you are mentioning is deceiving and anyone looking at it should see that. Probably the best thing for you to do is stop wasting time dwelling on this seller and others like him and find a seller that you are comfortable with.
