Almost there Before you buy, we need a little more information
Hello everyone
I’m not able to place an order although I’m logged in. I receive this message : “Almost there , Before you buy, we need a little more informationâ€
and the when I hit Continue I land on a blank page with the word register . Anyone experiencing this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix?

·2 years agoI used the website and that worked, after I made a purchase the app started working too. It must be a weird problem with the app.

·2 years agoAre you using a browser, or the eBay app? If a browser: mobile, classic or desktop mode?
Try another browser or another mode to see if that makes any difference.

·2 years agoDid you ever find a fix I’m having the same problem, I put my credit card info in so I don’t think that’s the issue.

OP2 years agoI’m still facing the same issue. I’m reluctant to add my credit card details. Let’s see if they will allow Paypall back.

·2 years agoAre they wanting you to enter a Payment Method before you purchase? That might be what you need to 'Register'.

OP2 years agoThanks for the reply. As I said the page is blank. However I did not enter any credit card information in my profile. I’m planning to use PayPal. In any case I also tried to buy as a guest but it’s the same issue. Very frustrating TBH.

I just checked my (old) Account Settings and notice that I have PayPal listed, which says 'Last used for checkout'.
To be honest with you, I don't know if they're allowing PayPal to be used now that eBay is requiring a Payment Method up front, as it's been awhile since I made a purchase. I like to use PayPal... all of my cards' info is there, I can choose from several methods from my Wallet, plus it's another layer of protection.
Sit tight for other posters with knowledge/experience. Good luck.
