I believe you had to check a box on the listing to be billed for the insurance when you paid for the item. I think you can go back to the listing you bought from to buy the insurance only. However, if the item is a used one, check it out online to see when it was Manufactured. Some items are too old to be covered by the Allstate policy, even though they will sell you the insurance.
