·2 years agoAs far as I know USA does not have custom charges.
However, there is an insurance thing from one country to another. Will seller be honest to list the value?
And insurance is usually winnable if item is lost....damaged item is very hard to collect.
Honestly, I would not buy something at that price from another country. Unless it is a real jeweler who has a lot of feedback...positve and you know the address where it is coming from...google the address...I wouldn't do it.

·2 years agoYes, the US does indeed have customs charges. Typically anything over $800 is subject to a duty, the percentage of which varies by country. According to one online duty calculator, your duty charges would be about $350.
