Account permanently suspended after buying a lot of items
My wife and I moved into a new house about a month ago and began making eBay purchases about 2.5 weeks ago. I’ve had issues since day 1 using my new debit card. Bank wasn’t declining, eBay was withdrawing and depositing the charges back and forth and saying it couldn’t complete purchases. So my wife made an account, and it let her buy low cost items. She tried to make a purchase above $200, which couldn’t be completed, so she called eBay. She was told that there’s a temporary hold on high value purchases because the account was so new, but ultimately lifted it for that specific purchase. As of today, the next day, her account is permanently suspended. “…your eBay account has been permanently suspended because of activity that we believe was putting the eBay community at risk.â€
She’s been buying stuff for our new offices like books, video game merchandise, and Funko Pops. Nothing crazy. I’m just really
confused as to why eBay is giving us such a hard time.

Ebay does not give out specifics when the indefinitely suspend someone.
You can also expect this to happen to your account since you are in the same household.
