Accidentally canceled refund
I accidentally closed my return request. I wanted the refund sent back to my PayPal account instead of remaining as an eBay credit, but I mistakenly thought closing the return would allow me to change the refund method. Is there any way to reopen the return and have the refund issued to PayPal, or am I SOL?

·3 weeks agoSince you closed the request you cannot open another one and the refund would have went to the payment method you used to purchase the item.....you can't change that.

Unfortunately, because you closed the request, you cannot open another one. Refunds are automatically sent back to the payment method you used to pay for the item, you cannot select where the refund is to be sent. If your PayPal payment was from a PayPal balance that's where the refund would go, if it was to a card, it would go there.
