OP11 months agoThank you for allthe input. The offer was a good one or I wouldn't have done anything. I've switched to the international shipping but it wouldn't take it saying item was too large. Mind you this is a poster I'm selling. I do know to not sell it off ebay.

I have sold many full size 27x40" movie posters on ebay and never have been told they were too large to be shipped. USPS has triangular poster shipping boxes you can get for free or better yet use a poster shipping tube.
You do not give the poster's dimensions but it looks like either an 18x24" or maybe a 24x36" You should always give poster dimensions in the title or seller description.
USPS and even ebay's EIS will accept a 24' or 18" x 2" or 3" tube you always roll posters from top to bottom for shipping and if you plan to sell more posters I suggest either wrapping them in plastic wrap once they are rolled up to fit a tube, or better yet buying shipping tubes tubes and plastic sleeves on ebay.
I would never ship a poster using Ground advantage or EIS Both services either fill containers haphazardly or jam packages on pallets causing damage. A USPS priority mail triangular shipping tube will be handled with more care.

I just opened both of your listings and neither shows any shipping options other than Ground Advantage in the U.S. Both have garnered a fair number of Views in a short time and most experienced bidders will not bid on auctions until the last few minutes of its duration.
I still say you should reply to the customer saying if it does not get bids you will create a private listing for them. Change the shipping to USPS Priority International and use calculated shipping so your buyer sees the cost. The link below explains how to do that

OP11 months agoI had the diminsions on there in the description but they've disappeared. I get a dimensions are above maximum limit with the international shipping with or without dimensions being in description.
