A refund that wasn't credited to my Paypal account after returning it. The seller has a 30 day return policy, accepted the return but never credited my account.

Your refund is returned to your actual payment source … not to PayPal. It can take some credit card companies up to a month to show it back in your account.
When did you receive the notification that a refund was sent?

·3 years agoA refund to a credit card can take up to 2 billing cycles.

eBay does not authorize refunds until the return tracking info shows Delivered. If you paid with your PayPal balance the refund will not go back to your PayPal balance it will go to your bank account. If you paid using a debit card through PayPal the refund still goes back to your bank. Seller's have 2-3 days after tracking shows delivery to refund, and the refund can take 3-5 days from being issued to show up in your bank account. If you used a Credit card the refund can take up to 30 days to show up on your card providers statement, but you can call them to see if is being processed.

You can 'escalate' the return 48hrs after the return tracking shows delivered. Find the 'return' in your 'purchases' on 'my ebay' (will be at bottom of 'purchases' and escalate from there)
