A Funny Thing Happened to Me on the Way to the Forum
I made it, and now I regret it.
I have enjoyed the little bits of controversy I have encountered here, and I thank you all for that - it keeps my juices flowing (someone will, no doubt, take offence to the word 'juices' here). I spent over 40 years in the life safety business and I thrived on controversy. Nothing like telling a lab manager, for example, that what s/he is doing is hazardous and has to stop.
So anyway, I'm moving on from this forum and eBay. What I have learned here about today's scammers has turned me off, and it's going to get worse with modern AI that can become anything or anybody. Besides, I have found a local store that sells the same kind of stuff I am looking for at a fraction of the prices I see on eBay (eg: three full seasons of The West Wing, brand new still sealed for $18.98 Canadian plus tax). I don't need dozens of hi-res pics or detailed descriptions to verify these - I can hold them in my hand.
And the best part - I don't have to worry about all the headaches, bad feedbacks and costs of shipping! The eIs system can be relocated to a place where the sun don't shine!
It's been a slice. Thanks!
PS: You don't need to respond - I won't be back to read it.
