7 Day auto pay is flipping to one hr pay
I don't know whats going on of late I look to see before I bid if it's 7 day auto pay.
Quite a few times one a day or two it flips to one hr pay.
So had retract my bids.. Unless I'm there and have money in hand to pay
for 1 hr auto pay.. I don't it.. The last seller said it was cloned listing
he doesn't know what happened.. Asked him if he would cancel it.
Because listing was in error he wouldn't

·4 days agoNo idea what the "cloned listing" excuse was. Every individual item listed has its own auction number and nothing from another auction listing can interfere with that. It's the only way you can address issues on a case by case basis.
What you are saying IS happening. You make a bid on an item that specifically states, "7 day auto pay", and next thing you know the counter is ticking off for the 1-hour payment. Unless you were to screenshot the wording on the screen when bidding, there is no proof after the auction ends.
Sorry, but eBay has become a total mess. What is even the point of the "7 day auto pay"? You get an eBay message saying, "you have 6 more days to shop with your seller", and then an hour later you'll get "pay for your item", "you might lose your item", "the seller could cancel your item".... You get all these veiled threats for days, now even pop-ups as you browse, "pay for your item". So what's the point of 7-day? Seemed at first like it was an attempt to create a relaxed environment like the good ole' days, but no, just harassment from eBay. Hey eBay morons, been on here for 20+ years with 100% feedback, I pay for my auctions won. Fix your AI if that's the issue.
The whole thing is getting old.

·1 week agoWith my sellers when it saids 'one hour auto payment' I am still bidding on others of the seller's auctions. When I win a second auction of the same seller within minutes it changes to a 7 day auction.
I guess if you only win one auction it won't change.
Just a thought.
