Accidentally opened INR for a partial order, missing items. How to change?

I messed up. As a seller, I should've known better. I ordered 4 different items from a seller. They shipped everything together in two separate tracking numbers (was supposed to have 2 orders inside each tracked shipment). However, both packages only contained the contents of 1 order each. I'm missing TWO of my orders (Order # 26-14861-04532 and 10-14893-88183) Before thinking, I opened an "Item Not Received" tickets. I know that's not going to work because they have tracking numbers that show as delivered. I should've opened a "Not as Described" and selected "Missing Items" instead, but it's too late now. Both packages arrived completely sealed and unopened (so nothing could've fallen out in transit). There is a massive weight and size discrepancy. For one package, the seller purchased shipping label for a 4"x4"x6" box at 2 lbs 1 oz . The actual package delivered was 3"x10"x12" and weighed 6 lbs on my scale. The missing items physically could not have fit into what the seller paid for. They under reported the weight entirely. What was in the box weighed more even with items missing. Hopefully this will be an honest seller and I won't have to get eBay involved. I've already reached out to them nicely, with photos, to see if they just made a shipping mistake. I'm nervous. If the seller hides behind the "Delivered" tracking, what should I do? Can an eBay support rep manually change the case type or am I going to be stuck relying on an appeal or payment dispute? Tracking will show items were delivered even though they were missing from the shipments.

Sold item after accepting counter offer.

I recently made a counter offer for an item which was accepted by the seller.  When I went to pay for the item, it said item was sold.  When I  reached out to the seller, they indicated someone else purchased the item.   I don't see how this is acceptable.  We have a written agreement for the purchase of the item.  This shouldn't be allowed.

      Fake Tracking Numbers

Every few orders for grocery items (ketchup, Mayo, Parm cheese) I been getting fake tracking numbers that never arrive. The item shows as delivered but I never received anything. When I contact the shipper (FedEx, UPS or USPS) they tell me the item with that tracker shipped weighing like 2 or 3 ounces and DID NOT go to my address or name. Then I have to wait to call eBay to get my money back. It has become exhausting and frustrating. I been a buyer since 2000 and this has been happening within the last two years. When a purchase dose arrive it is delivered by Walmart in a Walmart bag via a driver. Not by the tracking number the seller provided. What is going on? Please can anyone tell an old lady what the scoop is on this. I’m just trying to save a little money when I can by purchasing these costly groceries on eBay. Thank you.

Some sellers are really just bad business people

Purchased a low cost item this evening and immediately realized that I had purchased it already at that big box place. Within the same minute I did a request to cancel and not 30 seconds I get both a confirmation of my purchase then the denial of my return request. for a $15 item. How desperate are these people?

Good Day: Does anyone know how we can obtain the business address for this Seller? On their page it shows Chino CA as their location, but we cannot confirm that. Thank you very much for any assistance provided. Sincerely, vindely

Go to checkout on an offer

I have an offer for an item from the seller. The button says Go to checkout. If click that button am I obligated to buy it? Also, the seller has a coupon code. How or can I add it to the purchase?

Scammed on a "gold" ring - counterfeit discovered after 30 days. How do I get eBay to step in?

Hi everyone, I’m looking for some advice on how to handle a fraudulent seller. On May 5th, I purchased what was listed as a genuine 14kt gold Tanzanite ring with real diamonds. It arrived on May 29th. After wearing it for about a month, the "gold" has completely worn off to reveal a cheap silver-colored base metal, the band has gone totally misshapen, and the "Tanzanite" and "diamonds" loose and rattling. It's clear the ring was just painted to look real for the initial delivery. Because the fraud took a month of wear to become visible, the standard 30-day Money Back Guarantee window has just passed. I reached out to the seller to demand a refund for selling counterfeit goods, but they flat-out denied the return, obviously hiding behind the timeline. I have clear photographic proof of the item's current condition showing it's a fake. Has anyone successfully gotten eBay to intervene on a counterfeit item after the 30 days? What is the best way to get this escalated to a real human in fraud/security rather than getting auto-rejected by the automated system? If eBay won't help, my next step is a chargeback with my bank, but I'd prefer to let eBay handle the fraudulent seller first. Any tips or phone strategies would be greatly appreciated!

The seller canceled the membership before it expired, then sold it again on eBay.

I purchased a one-year Priority Pass membership. Five months after providing the seller with positive feedback, my membership was canceled, and the seller relisted Priority Pass on eBay. I attempted to contact the seller, but received no response. Unfortunately, eBay is unable to take action due to the elapsed time exceeding 90 days. It is regrettable that this situation occurred on eBay.

      where to report dropshipper?

My last post was mysteriously "archived". Why not say Deleted? NO accountability. So, where do I report a dropshipper?

why I've quit buying on Ebay

Ebay used to be a great place to find parts for vehicles and watercraft, but now there are too many people who disassemble items down to screws and so forth that it's no longer worth it to even try to look.  Things are listed for ridiculous prices, not due to their worth but rather what others have it listed for.  There are three prices, what sellers want to charge, what buyers want to pay, and what it sells for.  Bidding helped to keep things realistic, but now that's almost totally disappeared from the site.

      Seller asks me to cancel

What are your thoughts on sellers that ask the buyer to cancel the purchase to get a refund because they don't have the item they sold? This is very frustrating when you have searched for a good deal for a long time and finally when you find it, it was too good to be true. Can you even leave negative feedback if you cancel?
