What Is Moreinfo?
I bought a gallon of atf, seller had reasonable, price, and feedback (97%). The shipping est was to arrive today. I first got an email from seller through ebay that the item would ship soon. Then I got an email from moreinfo that the sellers account had been taken over by a third party and that I should take up my missing payment with my payment (paypal). The item still shows awaiting shipment, and my money is out of my bank account. How do I approach this situation?

Mailman FOLDED my vinyl record to fit it in the mailbox!
I bought a vinyl record, it was shipped in a record box with extra packing. The post office FOLDED it to get it in my mailbox, and it is ruined. Of course its not insured since it is media mail, what can I do? It's only worth $20 total, but still I am LIVID at the driver who did this. Normally a record box fits fine in my huge rural sized mailbox, but there was another package he put in first, and to shut the lid, he literally had to fold it 90 degrees.

Damaged Item Return to Seller
Just recently I ordered a set of Hurricane Lamps. The Seller quickly accepted my offer and payment was automatically made to seller by eBay. Shipment arrived within a reasonable amount of time. On receiving the box was a used (Turkey stamped on side) thin cardboard box haphazardly taped. As you know the chimney of hurricane lamps are very thin and fragile to breaking. The seller wrapped the four pieces in thinly made bubble wrap with hardly any packing to stabilize and cushion the lamps. They placed one of the chimneys at the bottom of the box and of course this was the one that shattered. Nothing on the outside of the box indicated "Fragile Handle With Care" ' no warning what so ever and label was hanging from a piece of lose packing tape. Never in all the years I have been an eBay buyer have I received such a package as this and having to leave a negative review. Here is the review I left for the Seller: "This has been a very stressful transaction & I’ve hesitated making a negative review. I notified the seller of item arriving damaged due to inadequate packing and negligence therefore, causing the sellers description to be inaccurate. Seller accepted my request to return damaged item for a refund but has ignored my messages and has failed to provide a return label. Still awaiting for an appropriate resolution. I’m not so confident there will be one. Buyers beware! "

Right away receiving the pkg I messaged the Seller (with a picture of the box and damaged item) and got no reply. After much searching, I finally found a way to report this to eBay. I was informed the Seller had the "no returns" policy but, under eBay MBG if the item is damaged due to the seller's negligent then it is covered. I received two emails; one the seller agreed for me to "return" the item to him and sent a check list of if I wanted USPS to pick up the pkg or drop it off. Ok, fine so far BUT, I was told I needed to return the lamps by a certain expiration date or the return would be cancelled. There was no RETURN LABEL attached! I messaged the Seller asking for one.......no response. Read the email more carefully and eBay said they will not step-in until after 3 days of no response from the seller and I would have to wait until they activate a button to contact them. My questions to the readers of this post: Has anyone had to face this kind of problem or did you just give up the fight? I can't help but wonder if this seller is trying to wear me down to give up or "cancel the return" getting him off the hook. Do you think eBay will help me after the 3 days (tomorrow) and have I done the right thing by this seller and asking eBay for a refund? Sorry for the long post.

Changing payment method when paying with PayPal
I have used PayPal for my eBay purchases for so long I can't remember using any other means. During checkout I used to be given the option of choosing the funding source I wanted to use. i.e. which credit card or bank account I wanted to use to fund the purchase. I no longer have this option and it is very annoying. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this changed back to the previous behavior? Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to your suggestions.

Same problem. Not accepting gift cards.
This from several years ago. I'm having exact same issues! For the past few hours I've been trying to purchase an item with an eBay gift card I bought. Now, when I go to checkout, and type my gift card's code, the amount says it's applied (even the order total appears as $0.00), but when I click on "Confirm and pay", the site displays a message saying " Please check your payment details or use a different payment option. ". I purchased a gift card because I don't use Paypal. I tried looking for solutions in other forums (most were from a couple of years ago) and many people were having the same problem as me. Some suggested to select Paypal as the payment option, log in to a Paypal account, and then type the gift card's code, but it didn't work for me. Another person suggested creating a new eBay account and using the gift card with that account, but since eBay's recent policies on security measures, I can't purchase anything because of a "buying limit" and because the account doesn't have any feedback. I have checked the card's balance and it's still intact. Has anyone else who experienced this issue found a solution (aside of these) for this problem?

Seller asks me to cancel
What are your thoughts on sellers that ask the buyer to cancel the purchase to get a refund because they don't have the item they sold? This is very frustrating when you have searched for a good deal for a long time and finally when you find it, it was too good to be true. Can you even leave negative feedback if you cancel?

Weary Buyer on Carousel of Ebay
Bought artificial flowers On June 26th and to this date of July 16 th have not received them . What I did get was three unavailable dates , first was till July 8 th , second was till July 13th and now third is until July 22 nd and so I canceled in between those dates with no response from seller , no flowers , and a denial from Ebay saying I waited too long , ugh ! Must wait till past July 22 nd and try for a full refund . What kind of nonsense is this ? Also seller store is closed or inactive I do not know which !!! I know this , my case is being handled so bad and taking way too long . I suppose some day I will get a full refund it just amazes me of all the hoops I have to jump through for this . Why ?????

I can't buy a wanted item despite being able to ship to my country
Earlier I made a post regarding this issue but no one responded, hoping for any help this time: the message said "unfortunately this item isn't available for purchase in your location" showed up when I went to checkout/buy item even though the item was stated it shipped to my country and the seller said I wasn't blocked from buying or otherwise, I don't get why. I tried checking out as a guest and same thing happened (it did to similar items that were able to ship too).

Seller is asking for my address via message on completion of purchase
Hello. There were some items I was interested in purchasing but on reading the listing the seller stated the buyer would need to look out for a message from them. Rather than going ahead I messaged the seller to query what this was about and they explained they need my address because they do not own a printer. I also don't own a printer and for the last year that has not been a problem through simple delivery (private seller). Am I misunderstanding something here?
