What Is Moreinfo?
I bought a gallon of atf, seller had reasonable, price, and feedback (97%). The shipping est was to arrive today. I first got an email from seller through ebay that the item would ship soon. Then I got an email from moreinfo that the sellers account had been taken over by a third party and that I should take up my missing payment with my payment (paypal). The item still shows awaiting shipment, and my money is out of my bank account. How do I approach this situation?

seeking buyer help, against a seller selling faulty items and not honoring their warranty.
I purchase a cordless tool battery from an eBay seller. who advertised that the battery came with a 5-year warranty. The battery I purchased failed with in under a year. the seller will not reply to my 3 messages I sent. I find no links for help with this issue on ebay's help pages, all the help is for the seller/merchant, and there is no link to ask eBay to step in on behalf of the buyer, but there is for the seller.????? How do I get ebay to step in and resolve this issue with the seller? I just want a replacement battery that does work or a refund. Does eBay have any rules for sellers about the wording of an item offered for sale. Such as advertising warranties, for products they are selling, and then not honoring that warranty? Is this not a form of fraud?

Handbag listings
I have a question about handbag sales on eBay. I have been a seller and buyer since 2012. I have noticed for maybe a year or longer that many, many handbag listings do not include measurements any longer. Its very aggravating when you are trying to make a decision on buying a handbag and there are no measurements. Many times you have to contact the seller and ask them for the measurements. You don't always get a response. It was never like this when I first joined eBay in 2012. Is this just laziness on the seller's part? Has any one else noticed this.

eBay Authenticity authenticated my item PRINTED SHIP LABEL but HAVEN'T SHIPPED IT... PLEASE HELP!
I'm having issues getting my authenticate item shipped that is still in ebay's hands. So far eBay Authenticity Guarantee department has authenticated my item & immediately PRINTED shipping label on 7/13/2026 at 9:06am but HAVEN'T HANDED OVER TO USPS TO HAVE IT SHIPPED... PLEASE HELP! I purchased a card on 7/1/2026 so it got shipped to eBay Authenticity Guarantee... Item was finally Authenticated Mon, Jul 13 9:10am with a Shipping Label immediately printed off (Track# 9400140206486069418095). Since then it hasn't moved when it should've been handed over to USPS already on its way to me especially since NO HOLIDAYS recently. I don't want to wait another 5+ BUSINESS DAYS to be forced to open an Item Not Received Case bc my EXPECTED DELIVERY is 7/17/2026 and it OBVIOUSLY WON'T MAKE IT TO NEW YORK from California in 1 business day. I'm Very FRUSTRATED & I'm currently at my full-time job so I can't make/receive calls for customer service so I would like; TO EBAY: Hi, I am lodging a formal complaint regarding my Authenticity Guarantee order (Item # 407038078773 ). The authentication team approved the item and printed a USPS shipping label 3 business days ago (USPS Tracking # 9400140206486069418095) , but they are dragging their feet and have failed to hand my property over to the carrier. Because eBay currently possesses my item, the delay rests entirely on your department. Please escalate this ticket to a supervisor immediately to investigate the warehouse bottleneck and force a physical tracking scan."

Changing payment method when paying with PayPal
I have used PayPal for my eBay purchases for so long I can't remember using any other means. During checkout I used to be given the option of choosing the funding source I wanted to use. i.e. which credit card or bank account I wanted to use to fund the purchase. I no longer have this option and it is very annoying. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get this changed back to the previous behavior? Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to your suggestions.

Iâ€™m looking to make a big purchase from an international seller on eBay soon. However, at check-out it said â€œThis item includes applicable import fees â€” You wonâ€™t pay anything extra after checkoutâ€ Letâ€™s say the total bill is roughly $145 including intl shipping fees. I will not have to pay anything extra after this yes?

Ebay system ate my gift card
I redeemed some CapitalOne shopping rewards with eBay gift cards, this morning, I input 4 codes in my account and $800 balance shown there, however, when I started to check out, the system quickly said my credit card did not go through (that's odd), then I changed to PayPal, however, all gift card vanished from the account, and the total balance was debited from PayPal. I thought that the balance will go back to my account, however, it just vanished without any trace. I called eBay and the service lady checked my account and said that I did not redeem anything, no balance in my account either, I let her check the log of the gift card, but was told that the gift card was not issued by ebay directly, she can't do anything. I wonder whether anyone else have experience to let eBay trace the history, the gift card from rewards program is all Letters, but eBay says theirs is Numbers. I do not know how to open a case to let eBay inner team to check the whole thing, please advise if you meet similar situation, thanks.

Same problem. Not accepting gift cards.
This from several years ago. I'm having exact same issues! For the past few hours I've been trying to purchase an item with an eBay gift card I bought. Now, when I go to checkout, and type my gift card's code, the amount says it's applied (even the order total appears as $0.00), but when I click on "Confirm and pay", the site displays a message saying " Please check your payment details or use a different payment option. ". I purchased a gift card because I don't use Paypal. I tried looking for solutions in other forums (most were from a couple of years ago) and many people were having the same problem as me. Some suggested to select Paypal as the payment option, log in to a Paypal account, and then type the gift card's code, but it didn't work for me. Another person suggested creating a new eBay account and using the gift card with that account, but since eBay's recent policies on security measures, I can't purchase anything because of a "buying limit" and because the account doesn't have any feedback. I have checked the card's balance and it's still intact. Has anyone else who experienced this issue found a solution (aside of these) for this problem?

Theft of Hard Drives need resolution

Not sure what to do about a bait and switch with computer bought off ebay. I bought two machines from the seller. I have screen shots of the sale page that listed computers would come with a 2tb hard drive. I contacted seller when I received order that the machines only came with just 1tb hard drives. First seller said AI is the one who made the mistake. Than seller said he revised the E-bay page after I bought the machines from 2tb hard to a 1tb drive after the sale. I paid for machines with 2tb drives. For me to replace the missing drives the cheapest 2tb drives are $89.99 x 2 + tax so this is really a $200 theft of drives I paid for with the computers. Is this clearly not fraud? I ask seller to refund the amount of the missing drives and they are refusing saying not there problem. The seller said oops sorry not my problem because they thought it was a 2tb hard drive. But on the day I bought the machines after I paid they sure knew to cover there E-bay listing by changing the page header listing the 1tb hard drives That should be no excuse. Seller even made no attempt to contact me that the drive was not what was posted and had no issue packing and shipping with hopes I would not notice.

I bought several different soft toy patterns and different yards of fabric from a seller. I asked for combined shipping and then paid for the merchandise. (Some said free shipping). I get a message from her telling me that EBay changed a listing to free shipping without her knowing. She asked if I would split that shipping or else she would relist it. (For all of her hard work) I asked how would I do that since it was already paid. Now I was sent a refund for that particular fabric and found it relisted on her site!!!?.. (black and white leopard fabric). In the relisting she wrote “buyer changed mind”. B S. !!!!

i purchased a pair of tiffany and co earrings from a seller and paid---24 hours later, she emails me and says she is having trouble getting it to go through (she recently opened the account after her old one was hacked, she says) and said she was canceling the sale and going to relist it--she canceled the sale, refunded my money and relisted them for a higher price---someone has already bid on them--is this considered legal on ebay--i know it is not ethical--what do i need to do?

Is there any way to exclude listings without images from an eBay search?
I know how to exclude individual sellers from search results (and I exclude a ton of them) but would like to exclude any listing that does not include an image. Any ideas?
