New Seller Questions
Hi: I am thinking about setting up my own shop on eBay. I have some questions about pros/cons of being an individual seller vs. a business account. Also, can someone explain to me the various fees like monthly fee and others to have the shop and shipping fees? Here are my questions:
What are the pros vs. cons for being an individual seller vs. business seller? If you're just starting out with a small amount of items does it make sense to be an individual seller to see how things go? Or set up a business seller account?
Does eBay allow you to change to a business seller account if you want to establish as a business?
Fees for individual vs. business account? Do you have to pay the annualized amount up front or monthly?
Is it easy to take and post pictures for the items? I see that you would do this on the eBay app.
What other fees are involved, i.e. what fees does eBay take? I understand they take a percentage of the shipping price, but what other fees are involved?
I understand that you provide a checking account for the sales to be direct deposited. Has anyone had any issues with this process? How long after the sale do you receive the money?
Lastly, any feedback on experiences with eBay? Good, Bad and Ugly?
