I received this out fit with a group of vintage barbie clothes. Really nice outfit in great shape but am wondering what doll this will actually fit. I tried it on a skipper and a pj barbie since the top would not fit a regular barbie vintage or otherwise. On the skipper the top fits easy and the pants are too long. I am thinking maybe a Francie body but do not have one to try on, does anyone know what doll this may have fit?

·11 months agoShillman made outfits for Francie, so it seems logical that's who this fits. The Francie body has a smaller bust than Barbie and is 1/4 inch shorter. Vintage Skipper is two inches shorter than Francie.
The lace is indeed part of the commercially made outfit.

I can't see enough detail to know.
I have sewn for decades and the lace just "doesn't fit" the outfit.
