Barbie collection questions
Hello, I have a very large collection of holiday Barbies in the box almost every year from 1985 until I think 2020. Everything has been stored in airtight containers and the boxes are all intact. Is it better to sell single Barbies? the collection as a whole?and how do I find out what each Barbie is worth, or what I should be asking?
thank you!

Thanks for the tag @tinsoldierunderground
The first Holiday Barbie was issued in 1988. The 1988-1992 dolls are the most valuable, running up to about $200 or so. After that the dolls were wildly overproduced, so the values plummet. There are years where you'll be lucky to get $5 for a doll. The best place to get an idea of values is to search eBay Sold listings for each doll.
As for how you should sell them, I greatly recommend selling them separately. The postage cost to ship the entire collection will be prohibitive, and the logistics daunting. The Barbie collectors interested are very picky about box condition. So a few damaged boxes might result in an item not as described return. Should that happen you not only will have to refund in full, including the original shipping, you'll have to pay to ship the dolls back to you.
Another compelling reason to sell separately is that very few people are looking for that kind of instant collection. Current collectors will only be looking to fill in their collection. The people really interested in buying the entire collection will be dealers, who have to buy at a low enough price to be able to resell for a profit.
Good luck!
