Mentor2 years agoIf an item you receive is "not as described", eBay has a procedure you can follow to get your money back. File a "not as described" return within thirty days of receipt:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-items-not-received-refunds-buyers/return-item-refund?id=4041&st=7&po=2&uci=0&ri=0
The seller will be required to provide a prepaid return shipping label or pay for tracked shipping and refund you upon return, or else refund you outright without a return. If the seller does not cooperate, you can ask eBay to step in and force a refund after three business days. If you do not ask eBay to step in, the case expires after about thirty days and cannot be reopened.
If you have waited too long for help from eBay, you may still have recourse from your payment method. PayPal and many credit cards offer up to six months of protection from the date of purchase.
