Your refund is being processed
A seller agreed to accept the return of items they shipped me after messaging them and then opening a return/refund request. The automated system is now at the "Started" with the message "Your refund is being processed". When I check the status of the return case it tells me "Take action". Clicking on that prompt takes me back to the screen that tells me"
"Your refund is being processed
A refund has been initiated back to your original payment method. If you don’t receive your refund within 3 to 5 business days, you can ask us to step in and help."
I continue to see the same message when I view details of the return progress, or when I click on the eBay message to print the shipping label.
How do I get an eBay-generated return label to return the item?!?

Mentor2 years ago@prozzzy did u contact the seller to find out if they want the item back? maybe they are refunding u without having the item returned.

OP2 years agoI did, the seller told me that they would refund me once I returned the items. Yet I don't understand how that's possible when eBay isn't providing me a shipping label that is trackable through the "return item" system.
When I read the help section it mentioned the two options that could happen either the seller pays for the return shipper or I get a prompt to pay for it myself. I'm getting neither. The eBay system just tells me it's in the process of refunding my money.
I don't want to not return the item without it being tracked through eBay's system to verify the refund and the seller getting their items back.

Mentor2 years agoIf the seller selected to refund you, which is what appears to have happened, you will not be getting a link to print out a shipping label. Perhaps the seller decided to cut her losses and not pay for return shipping. Once you receive your refund in 3-5 days, you can contact the seller and let her know you will gladly return the item if a return label is sent. Seller can use Paypal or Pirateship to create the shipping label.
