You wrongfully decided a case and I have proof.
eBay has wrongfully decided a case against me where I never received an item. A group of companies are using each other's information as affiliates. I ordered two of the same items at the same time from two different. The second company used the picture of the first one that I received.. whereas they're tracking number and the post office stated I did not receive the item. The post office does not take pictures of their deliveries. So the picture presented was fraudulent. I should have 30 days to appeal this wrongful outcome. But I'm in a loop and it won't allow me to appeal and won't have anybody call me.

I'm sorry that happened.
1) First, call the post office/shipper to see if the tracking number label contained your name and your address. (They won't tell you whose name *is* on the package, only that your name and address *is not*.)
a) If your name and correct address were on the label, ask the Post Office/shipper to review the GPS on the delivery, retrieve the item from the wrong house, and deliver it to you.
b) If your name and address weren't on that label, ask the Post Office/shipper if they will put this in writing; it's helpful, but not required. Also, ask for the weight of the package using that tracking number. Follow the rest of the steps starting with 2 below:
FOR UPS:
You can usually find the weight and other details for UPS here:
https://www.ups.com/track?loc=en_US&requester=ST/
then click " Proof of Delivery"
The proof of delivery may have more details about the delivery site, and the weight. Screenshot that.
FOR FEDEX
You can usually find the weight and other details for FedEx here:
https://www.fedex.com/en-us/tracking.html
Then click 'View More Details' to see the package weight. Screenshot that.
2) Then, report the seller using this process
https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4022
Important, select "Suspicious seller activity"
then "Other"
Explain that the seller is using fake tracking numbers
Include these phrases
Don't write a novel, it's initially being read by a computer, that's why I want you to use those 3 specific phrases in the message.
3) Finally, contact Customer Service and inform them that the seller uploaded a "false tracking number" on your purchase. Share any documentation you gathered. Request a refund.
Use the Customer Service that is on Instagram this way:
Send a private direct message to the page. Explain you have a fake or false tracking number situation.
Let me know how this goes, I've been burned a few times myself (including on Amazon), but I have been able to get a refund following this process.
There are additional steps to take if the above isn't effective, just come back and update me.

OP4 months agoHi, East Lane
Thank you for your response and your concern for others.
I had gone to the post office a couple of weeks back and they gave me a typed letter from a manager that the tracking number on my eBay order was not delivered to me but it was delivered to another address and was not the proper weight for the item I had ordered. Also I was told that the picture presented to eBay was fraudulent, because a the US Post office DOES NOT take pictures of their deliveries. THE PICTURE THEY PRESENTED was from the other order (the same six pack of energy drink boost.) of the two that I ordered on the same day, from a different affiliate. So they exchanged the photo from the affiliate I got it from.
When I emailed you I hadn't realized the reason I wasn't able to contact anybody is that though they use Pacific time they close early at 3:30 Pacific time. And I contacted them shortly after 3:00.
I realized that later that evening and called them the next day, and did get somebody immediately to return a call to me.. We straightened out the part that I didn't get the order, though I had previously lost the dispute that the seller opened. I was refunded immediately.
The problem eBay has now is there's a lot of this out there, probably more than ever. They don't realize they're shooting themselves in the foot. They've erased just about every feedback toward this group of companies that are doing this as I've been put through the ringer to get my money back from more than 10 of these affiliates. This has been going on for a couple of months with food orders.
I was very disappointed when I received the email about this. eBay stating the reason as, that the order was stolen after it was delivered. However the representative said she knew I didn't get it so immediately refunded it.
However I doubt after 20 years I will be using much of eBay if at all. I am trying to permanently stay away from using eBay.
With so much corruption going on, with eBay sweeping it under the rug and forgetting about the people that go through the ringer, and many lose their money and probably are staying away from eBay and telling a lot of people to also. Which all inform people and I also have, what was done here. Thank you again for your concern. Good luck with your business.
