All new Sellers will have their funds held for approximately 30 days in the event a Buyer wants a refund. Ebay allows Buyers up to 30 days to request a refund and the Seller needs to have the funds available to cover that.

Once you have additional successful sales, eBay will start to release your funds sooner.

As far as eBay fees, eBay is very transparent regarding their fees.
