I'm trying to list a WW2 Army bayonet and ebay red flags item as "assault weapons or accessories not allowed."

There are many bayonets for sale and they have sold. My title and description are proper for the edge weapons category. Help. Joe

"M4 bayonet" is ambiguous.

M4 is the name of a bayonet for an M1 carbine (not an assault rifle) which seems to be allowed. But M4 is also the name of a particular carbine (a shortened M16A2), which is capable of selective fire and is considered an assault rifle, according to Google. Accessories for an M4 are therefore not allowed.

I am not sure if you can make it sufficiently clear to the bots that are scanning for certain keywords (like "M4 bayonet") that you are selling the former and not the latter. Considering that the consequences of guessing wrong likely include getting your eBay account suspended, it may be worth selling that item elsewhere rather than risk it.
