OP3 years agoI listed a German belt buckle with their party symbol on it. It was removed. I re-listed it with the symbol covered. It too was removed.
But in the same category is see other items with the symbol on the item.

·3 years agoThat "party symbol" was apparently the infamous German broken-arm cross. Any item with that symbol, displayed OR covered, makes the item unsellable on eBay.

OP3 years agoWho’s to say what is anti-Semitic? You go to any discussion board about politics and you’ll find plenty who say either of our major parties are anti-Semitic.
And I don’t want to stop people from selling their old junk. That’s all I’m trying to do.
People either want to sell history or want to sell their old junk.
BTW, my last listing did not show any swastika or mention that political party. I was just a shinny chrome buckle with an eagle. Who or what ever yanked my first two listings just kept going.

·3 years agoOnce a listing has been removed it doesn't matter what you cover up it will be removed again. No Nazi can be listed period.

OP3 years agoIf it was that important to EBay they should have some software that screens out anything that says Nazi or has the Nazi sign.
l looked through German WW 2 items before I listed my item. I was looking to see what was allowed. It did seem to me that someone might have a problem with these items. Since I saw several Nazi signs displayed I believed they were allowed.
Sad way to run a business.
btw, those items with the Nazi signs are still there. But I don’t have a problem with people getting rid of their old junk. Ebay does.

·3 years agoThere's a 'report this item' button in each listing. Feel free to report listings that violate policy.

OP3 years agoThanks, but that does not explain why my item was flagged when there are other items that clearly show the apparently offensive symbol. My last listing just showed a shinny chrome buckle.
