Wrongly Linked to Another Account — Indefinite Restriction in Error
I just received a notice that my eBay account has been indefinitely restricted from selling because it was allegedly linked to another account called “mendini_music.â€
The problem is — I’ve never heard of or interacted with that account. I’ve never shared contact, payment, or computer info with them. It’s clearly a mistake in eBay’s system.
Support told me they “can’t share how the link was found†and that I have to wait until the issue with the other account is fixed, which makes no sense since I have nothing to do with it.
Has anyone here dealt with a similar situation before or successfully appealed a false account link?
It’s really frustrating to be blocked from selling over an error that I can’t even verify or appeal.
