Wrongly blocked as international buyer

Question

I have recently been blocked from bidding on items as an international buyer.

I have always lived in Minnesota, and I do not use a VPN!

Please help, it is inordinately frustrating.

I tried eBay's bot, but it has no clue!

Where is the seller registered? Perhaps the seller cannot ship to you because the seller is in another country.

Are you using a hotspot or a Starlink network? Those can cause issues as well.

If not, try completing your purchase using a different network connection -- such as by using your mobile phone while not connected to your usual WiFi.

If you think the problem may be with your account, try completing your purchase using a different eBay account or as a guest.
