Wrong version of eBay
I’m returning after 10 or so years. I submitted updated information, the was told to get new version. Think i’m on both versions. Keep getting errors. Keep doing new passwords. Very confusing. I listed something on one of the versions! Please help!

It sounds like you have two eBay accounts.
----First, write down the User name and password for the computer and the phone, BOTH accounts. ----
(your phone may be a phone number + password)
Pick the account with the longest history, and the most feedback,
To change a log in on a phone:
Go to your phone. Open the app
Click the My eBay Icon at the bottom
Click Settings at the top
Scroll down to "sign out" in the first section
You are now logged out of the "preferred account"
Click the My eBay Icon at the bottom
It will ask you to log in with an email or user name (or apple/Facebook/google)
==>> log in with the account information from your Computer - (your eBay User Name that you see on the computer.)
Likely "Use email and User name"
Enter the user name and password from the computer log in
(don't use any default login saved on your phone)
Now you can save this NEW login to your phone.
You are now on the same account on the Computer and Phone
To change a log in on the website
Go to the website on your computer
Click your name in the upper left "Hi --"
Select Sign Out.
Click "Sign In Again"
Then "Switch Account"
Enter the User Id and password from the "preferred account"
