Wrong tracking number provided packaged shows delivered but wasn't deliver to my address
FedEx says address associated with tracking number given isn't my address. So while a package might have been delivered, and a picture taken at someone else's house, it wasn't delivered to my address. FedEx customer service says they can not give me the address that the wrong tracking number given to me was actually delivered to. FedEx specifically says that the tracking number give by the seller isn't to my address. How do I get my money back from seller.
Ebay want to close my case stating
1 The case was closed, because tracking details show that the item was delivered to the right address.
2 If you didn't receive your package, check the delivery address in your order details or contact the carrier for more information.
3 This case is closed. The decision is final and can't be appealed.
1 Answer My problem with the above is that the first thing they say is wrong, my package wasn't delivered to the right address. The package associated with the wrong tracking number give to me might have been delivered but it wasn't my package.
2 Answer I did check my address in the "your order details" and it is my correct address. The problem I don't have a correct tracking number to know that what went out actually was going to my address.
3 Answer I think the seller might have found a loop hole to provide a fake or wrong tracking #. Then when the buyer asks where the package is they just show Ebay that the deliver was completed. The problem is I bet they aren't showing Ebay the FedEx proof-of-delivery sheet with "full delivery" address. It doesn't count if they only show Ebay that the delivery was "complete" or was completed to a recipient address matching the buyers address listed on the buyers account.

You need the info from fedex in writing - you don't need to know where the package was delivered, just that it was not addressed to you. Try an online chat with fedex - then you can screen print the chat for documentation. Use that to appeal the decision with eBay customer service.
If they still an't help, call your credit card issuer and open a charge back for a package not received/fake tracking.
