Wrong shipping price
I just recently sold my first eBay item and didn't realize I only had 5.07 listed as for shipping paid by buyer for ground shipping with obviously the wrong dimensions listed of package size. After changing the dimensions to the 40"x12"x13" package size box that has the 3ft hard plastic vintage walking doll in it that weighs 2bls, and box weighs 3lbs it wants to charge $78.00 to ship. The buyer has already sent payment with the original included $5.07 shipping included. I only sold the doll on her offer for $40.00 instead of the original listed amount of $50.00. i cant afford to pay that huge amount in shipping. So how can I go and change the shipping on this to right size and amount!! Or do I need to cancel this whole thing. And if so how do I do that. I can't figure this out and am new to eBay completely and am lost. Please help me, thanks!!

You can not ask the buyer for more money for shipping.
Message the buyer and explain your error, let them know that you must cancel the sale.
To cancel, go to your list of sold items and select cancel transaction from the menu next to the item. Then select 'I am out of stock or can't complete the transaction'. This will put a defect (bad mark) on your seller account, but there is no way around it. You must be more careful in the future - if you get more defects, eBay will restrict your ability to sell here.
You will have to fund the refund to the buyer, but then eBay will release the payment and reverse the fees.
