wrong shipping cost by eBay
I noticed the shipping interface got updated recently when listing an item.
I thought this would be a nice improvement.
However, when a sale happened, I realized the buyer paid much less than what they should have paid!
I used the eBay shipping calculator to buy & print the label and had to pay much more extra!
I always use USPS for shipping and use the calculated version (with box size and weight).
Some of my listings have quantity enabled, so a buyer can buy multiples of the same item.
For this listing, the buyer bought 2. (I wondered whether they ended up paying for the shipping cost of 1. But even then, the shipping cost looked much less than even for 1 of those.)
I think I had entered the information correctly.
I checked some other newer listings and their calculated shipping cost looks much less than what it should be.
How could this happen??
It looks like there is a bug with shipping.
Is eBay aware of this aware and working to correct the shipping calculations?
If yes, is there something we can do to expedite that?
