Wrong return address on shipping label

Question

I just sold my first item, but my shipping label had my old address on it. I canceled that label, updated my address completely deleting the old address. I requested another shipping label and it still has my old return address on it. Help. Also am I bring charged for new shipping labels even if I didn't use them?

You are charged each time you buy a label. If you request cancellation, the refund takes about 3 weeks to receive.

Make sure that you have updated your ship from address here -

https://accountsettings.ebay.com/uas/addresses

You should also have the option to edit the ship from address on the far right side of the label purchase page.

Once you have added your new address as @wooden_flower advised, you need to select it when you print your label as follows.

There is a 'Edit' button on the lower right-hand side of the Print Shipping Label screen.

- If you don't see something like this to the right on the shipping screen, click the "Show additional shipping options" on the upper right, then look again.

Ship from

This Town OH 4xxxx-xxxx

Return to

Other City OH 4xxxx-xxxx

Click the 'Edit' underneath the addresses.

You'll be able to select the addresses you entered in to your account.

-- Return Address is what prints on the label

On the App,

Get Shipping Label

Click the > to the right of Order Details

Edit Ship From to enter the drop off zip code.

Add a separate Return To address if that applies.

-- Ship From Zip prints at the very top of the label by the postage.

After you have your new label printed you can cancel your old labels this way.

Here's how to cancel (or void) an unused shipping label you purchased on eBay:

- Go to Manage shipping labels: https://www.ebay.com/ship/labels/my-ebay

- Find the item you'd like to cancel the shipping label for, then from the Actions column, select CANCEL.

- Choose your reason for canceling the label.

- Select Cancel shipping label.

You have 28 days to cancel a label. The refund will come about 21 days after you cancel.
