Wrong Paypal Default
On PayPal, I have a credit card set as the default payment method, but direct withdrawal from bank account is an option when sending money to friends. When I buy on eBay, it always charges the bank account and does not go through the credit card. How can I fix this?
The eBay and PayPal chatbots have been absolutely useless in answering this question.

Mentor10 months agoYou should be able to select PayPal at checkout.
If you mean that when you check out of eBay and select PayPal, you are not able to choose a specific payment method in your PayPal wallet but one is selected for you, in that case go to your eBay Payments page in your eBay account and delete the entry for PayPal that appears there.

The next time you check out on eBay and choose PayPal, you should be sent to your PayPal wallet page and given a chance to pick a specific payment method, including PayPal Credit if the transaction qualifies.
If the seller requires a payment method in advance to place a bid or make an offer, you may have to provide a credit or debit card that can handle a reversible payment hold. In the case of an auction, eBay may allow some time -- on the order of an hour -- after the auction ends to combine auction wins or to choose a different payment method. If another payment method is not specified, eBay will charge the amount to the payment method specified in advance.

Check again that your ebay (not just online payments) default on PayPal is set to your credit card and that all credit card information it correct.
