Wrong item shipped. Help!

Question

I swapped items by mistake and two buyers received the incorrect item. I have been in constant contact with both and they still want the items not a refund. One submitted a refund request. I had the other one do the same. I sent return labels and they have both sent the items back, but I have not received one. EBay is trying to get me to give a refund. I just want to ship the correct item and close it out. Any suggestions on how to handle this?

You should refund and then relist the items and have your buyers purchase them again. They should want to do this, in case the item arrives damaged or there is another issue - they wonâ€™t be able to open another return.

The only other option is to ask the buyer to close the return, but that is asking them to trust you to send the right item, and that it will arrive in the proper condition.
