WRONG ITEM SHIPPED

Question

Customer purchased silver proof set. I accidentally shipped mint proof set. Ebay said when I received the mint proof set back, refund customer. Customer did not want a refund and asked me to ship the correct silver proof set. I received the mint proof and he received the correct silver proof set. Ebay keeps saying that since I have received the return item, refund the customer. How can I resolve this and get the funds released?

@leondeanabowes The only way to not have eBay force a refund from your account is to ask the buyer to cancel the refund request case since they are happy.

How to close your request

Go to your Purchases and find the item.
Select See request details in the Actions menu and then Close your request.
Select your reason for closing the request from the dropdown, and add details if you want to.
Select Close request or Confirm.
