Wrong item sent
I accidentally sent a buyer the wrong item. They requested a return and I payed for a shipping label for the return. The funds paid by the buyer are on hold. Will ebay refund the buyer or will I be able to send the correct item and keep the payment or will I need to send another invoice to the buyer before sending the correct item?

Mentor2 years agoYou need to fund the refund when the item is returned. The hold on the buyer's payment will probably be released after you have refunded the buyer. If the buyer still wants the item, you will have to relist the item and the buyer will need to repurchase the item.
