Wrong item returned- need it back.
I bought an item. Seller sent it in good order. Decided the good part was not needed. Seller arranged return. Part from a different Vendor was sent back, by mistake. I need that part to return to the proper Vendor. Seller says they 'are not in the warehouse' and cannot send my item back !! SOMEONE must have the part. Send it back to me. I will of course pay any s/h charges. The two returns total over $500.00 in return credits I cant get. Ebay says they are trying to help me. This has been ongoing for over a month. HELP !!

Mentor3 years agoAfraid this is between you and the seller you sent it back to by mistake. Nothing anyone else can do and no law to compel them to cooperate. If seller drop shipped the item from a warehouse, it may very well be very hard for them to find it, or it may have even been resold and shipped to someone else.

OP3 years agoThx. They cant re sell the item, as it is not what they were advertising. I just think that as the warehouse person oppens the pkg to verify refund, they will know its a wrong item. Why cant they get it back to me, and I will send them the correct return ? Which they can then re sell...

Mentor3 years agoIf you have the address of the warehouse you returned it to, try to get the phone number for that address.
Did seller refund you now that a return, even though incorrect, has been received? He must do this or on the fourth day go back to the Return Request and ask ebay to step in. Do not closed or let the case expire without doing this, so you at least get your refund, if the seller doesn't want to help you.
