Wrong item received.
I bought an item from a seller but received a different item than what I purchased. When I contacted the seller about receiving the wrong item they were very apologetic, said that they had just lost a family member, and that their kids were helping to pack and ship the auction items and must have sent the wrong item to me. They were going to try and contact the buyer that this item was supposed to go to, see if they would swap items with me, but now the seller will not answer any correspondence from me. What should I do and thanks!!

4 business days after filing the return request if the seller has not provided a return shipping label or a full refund then ask eBay to step in and help: https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/ask-ebay-to-step-in?id=4701
If the seller has stalled you and it's over 30 days you will have to contact your payment processor to file a chargeback dispute for an item that is significantly not as described.
