wrong delivery options shown for item when using eBay apps on android and iPod OS
Background: I'm offering both free local pickup AND shipping available for my item. The delivery options appear correctly on my pc, where I created the listing.
Issues: (1) When I double-check the listing on my iPad using the eBay app, the delivery options show incorrectly as local pickup only. I'm not logged in to my eBay account when I check. (2) On my android phone using the eBay app, it incorrectly shows local pickup only, and sometimes it even shows a delivery charge. When I double-check the listing there, I'm not logged in to my account.
Steps taken so far: (1) On 2026-03-23 I requested and received a call from a live eBay agent since the AI “agent” took me in a nonsensical, frustrating loop. The human agent suggested that I delete the listing and re-create it by using the Seller Hub. I did that, and it didn’t correct the situation or push the accurate delivery options to the eBay android app or the iPad app. (2) I repeated the same process today, 2026-04-12. (3) when I use Safari to open eBay on the iPad, the listing details regarding delivery are correct, and when I use Firefox to open eBay on the android phone, the listing is correct.
I would like potential buyers to know they have delivery options. A local buyer might prefer delivery for security purposes. A far-away buyer might like delivery for convenience purposes. Broken eBay android and iPad apps really misinform potential buyers and they improperly limit the seller’s opportunities to match with buyers.

Mentor4 months ago@sevene123 I am not sure why the app is not displaying correctly HOWEVER I would like to caution you that shipping the bike is going to cost MUCH more than you show on the listing due to dimensional weight surcharges. UPS WILL add surcharges and bill you later directly to your eBay account.
It would also need a signature on delivery since the sale is $750 or more.
The best way to ship a bike is bikeflights.com but I am not sure if their tracking integrates with eBay OR if they offer signature on delivery.
