Wrong address
I sent payment for an item won. Immediately upon seeing receipt I noticed the shipping address was one that I had over 20 years ago when I created my EBay account. I immediately contacted the seller and notified them of the error. They told me there was nothing they could do and they were sending item to that old address.

Your seller is correct - he can not change the address, but he can cancel the transaction as problem with buyer's address.
If the seller has not reported the item shipped yet, send him another message and ask him to cancel your purchase and relist the item so you can buy it again with the correct address.

OP2 years agoThank you for the reply and suggestion. That is what we ended up doing. He cancelled the order and reposted as "Buy It Now" and I did.
