Wondering how to increase variants on items published from Printful to eBay.
When I get to the last step, the publishing step, of adding any of my shirt designs onto eBay from Printful, immediately pops up a message in red at the bottom of the screen reading, "The total number of stock variants is greater than the maximum allowed for the store." I have reduced my number of variants down to one (for example, an order for only one black 3XL shirt) and it still didn't work. I have tried different and multiple products and still no luck. Printful support wasn't extremely helpful and told me to ask eBay. If anyone has encountered this message and had this problem or has any ideas, I value your opinion.

You may have a listing limit or you may too many variations.
1) You can see your personal selling limits, and you can request a limit increase here:
https://www.eBay.com/help/selling/listings/selling-limits?id=4107
2) You can have 250 different variation options in one listing
Example
S 50 different colors
M 50 different colors
L 50 different colors
XL 50 different colors
XXL 50 different colors

OP10 months agoThank you for your reply. Looks like my selling limit is 5000 so no issues there and as I mentioned, I tried to create a listing with only one variant and it still gave me the message saying the total number of stock variants is greater than the maximum allowed for the store. I still haven't been able to connect with an ebay agent, not sure I ever will.

Mentor10 months agoWhat is the item number in your limit?
What category are you listing in? not all categories allow variations.
This may be a printful problem

OP10 months agoIt's simply one of Printful'l stock t-shirts. I was actualy able to contact Printful customer service and after having their IT look into it, they told me to check with ebay becuase they could not find anything. I think if I can get the etsy and amazon connections to work I'm not even gonna worry about ebay.
