Won an auction and paid but I can see seller has already re-listed my item
Hi,
what do I do to follow up the below scenario.
I’ve had an eBay account for a while but never really used the account and have started to buy items recently.
I have just won a bid and paid for the item however not long after I won the bid I could see on the sellers other listings that they had re-listed my item for a higher price. It seems they maybe weren’t happy for the amount I won the item for and I am worried they will cancel my order and try to sell the item to another ebuyer…. If this is the case what do I do? Am I entitled to the item regardless of if they are happy since I won the bidding war and I have made payment?

Mentor2 years agoPerhaps the seller has more than one item to sell. Until there is actually a problem, there is not much for you to do.

Entitled or not, neither you nor eBay can force an unwilling seller to ship an item if the seller chooses not to cooperate.
eBay can only guarantee a refund if you do not receive what you purchased.
If the seller cancels for an inappropriate reason, you can report that to eBay.

Mentor2 years agoIf the seller has identical multiple items, they often use the RELIST option to save time so they don't need to create another listing. I only do this after I have sent the buyer the item, before I relist another identical item so the buyer is not worried.
Go to your Purchase History and locate the purchased item. What is the last estimated delivery date? You have up to 30 days past that date in order to file an Item Not Received case, to get your money back.
If it is past the 30 day limit, you will need to log into Paypal and file an
Item Not Received case there, if that is how you paid, as they allow up to 180 days from date of purchase to file, to get your money back.
If you paid with a credit card, file a charge back with your credit card issuer.
